CHANNELLING FACT OR FICTION?

"To most people, the concept of channelling is a relatively new and controversial addition to the realms of Ufology". There are two main types, the first essentially revolves around the principle of an Extra-terrestrial being or beings being able to telepathically transmit information through the chosen channeller which is then imparted normally by the verbalization of speech through use of the channellers vocal chords to an assembled audience. Alternatively, the channeller using a word processor or just plain old fashioned pen and paper although this system lacks the immediacy and spontaneity of one to one conversation sometimes dictates information.The channeller normally has to prepare for contact by going into an altered trance state although many claim to be able to channel while fully conscious. The second and possibly more controversial form of channelling occurs when the Extra terrestrial consciousness is allowed to actually fully 'inhabit' the channellers physical body and in this way enables the ET to communicate and interact directly with those in its immediate vicinity by utilizing all of the channellers physical senses. In rare cases, it is not unheard of for the channellers' vacant body to become fully animated, controlled by the alien consciousness, which can be quite disconcerting to those who witness such events for the first time.
In fact certain channellers also claim that they are able to perform what is essentially a 'mind swap' whereby their consciousness or astral body transfers to the ET's physical form while the ET consciousness inhabits the human body or alternatively, the channeller is able to travel astraly to some other dimensional reality vacating their own physical body while the channelling is in progress. This is obviously very difficult to authenticate as there is no sure fire way to verify if this mind swap is indeed actually what is taking place and this is probably one of the reasons why most Ufologists tend to steer clear of investigating this phenomenon. Unfortunately it only takes a few charlatans to tarnish the credibility of all genuine channellers.
The main problem most people face when trying to come to terms with the idea of channelling is having to accept the reality of a so called spiritual realm necessitated by the prerequisite that we all possess a spiritual or astral body (also sometimes referred to by the scientific community as a bio-plasmic field) that can travel out of the physical body, as the channellers and other psychics claim, to virtually anywhere that they may choose to Visit. This quasi religious aspect of channelling saddles with the beliefs of many religious institutions that also incorporate the notion that we all possess a non physical soul of one kind or another although, ironically, it is sometimes these same religiously inclined individuals that are most vociferous in their condemnation of channellers.
They argue that spirits or, more serious still, demonic forces are in fact masquerading as ET's to dupe the unsuspecting and gullible for some sinister ulterior motive (most usually they believe this is to ensnare the souls of the foolhardy to eternal damnation in Hell). This belief system most probably harks back to the attitude of the early Christian churches during the middle ages when any person suspected of possessing unusual or paranormal powers was deemed to be in league with the devil and were then summarily dealt with by normally being burnt at the stake!
When one tries to expand one's belief system to accommodate the possibility that all of us might possess a bio-plasmic essence that is separate but yet uniquely conjoined to our normal state of physicality, it then becomes easier to accept that this form of ET contact is, and has been, genuinely and successfully on-going for a great number of years. In America the channelling phenomenon is widely established and many books have been published purporting to have been channelled by ET's but unfortunately some channellers have in some extreme cases been elevated by their followers to almost cult worshipping status, thereby negating their own credibility.
When one examines the channelled information that has been received, there is a surprising amount of cross corroboration between channellers most of who have never ever met each other and this might go some way towards defining the true authenticity of the information although the sceptics still argue that there should be total accuracy if the information is to be deemed of genuine ET origin. Of importance is the fact that one should take into account the role and effect that each channeller might play in the process as they are, in effect, a conduit for an alien conscious and there may well be a certain degree of contamination or humanization of the incoming ET information as a result of this transfer.
I think that sometimes Ufologists in general are too preoccupied with the 'nuts and bolts' aspect of the phenomenon such as sightings of strange lights and craft in the sky and although the investigation and evaluation of such manifestations is no doubt of great importance. Surely meeting the pilots of such craft would be of infinitely more value to us than the vehicles, which they are piloting! Of course the holy grail of Ufology is to acquire the all important anti-gravity propulsion systems that propel these crafts (some argue that certain spin-offs of alien derived technology have already been acquired and has actually permeated our society: e.g. micro-chips and lasers) but surely we should be concentrating our efforts on communicating with those beings that constructed the propulsion systems and who knows, maybe they might even choose to impart that knowledge to us if only we undertake the courtesy to ask them?
Ufologist sometimes fail to recognize that our interaction with the ET's is not solely to acquire advanced technology, it is maybe much more profound than that. To put technological revolution above spiritual evolution might be a grave mistake, which we may all someday deeply regret. If their technology is indeed advanced enough to be able to propel them through the great void of the cosmos, then how much more spiritually and culturally advanced than us might they also be? Many people who claim contact with non human entities usually undergo a profound spiritual awakening, which usually has a drastic effect on their lives and the lives of those around them. Matters that were once unimportant to them such as the systematic destruction of the planet and it's ecosystems and the spiritual well being of themselves and their fellow man now become of great interest to them.
Conversely, Other matters that they previously placed great emphasis on such as career goals or financial security now falls very low in their newly revised list of priorities. Surely this profound shift in their spiritual paradigm away from materialization is not coincidental to their ET experiences but is rather an expression of their newly acquired enlightenment.
It is widely believed that various ET groups are targeting certain individuals as 'spokespersons' so that they can converse openly with us as a species but yet still retain their anonymity, for the moment at least. According to most channelled information, they are preparing us for a great revelation of apocalyptic proportions that appears to tie in with a rise and altering of the 'vibrational level' of the Earth which some theologians also interpret as the time of Armageddon which is referred to many times in the book of revelations of the Bible. This evolutionary shift is a common theme that runs through the works of many channellers that maybe indicates that some great change might indeed take place as we enter the new millennium.
Sceptics often argue that if aliens do exit, they why do they not just land on the White house lawn instead of appearing sporadically and to only a select few? Much channelled information suggests that the ET's seem to be sticking to very strict guidelines and rules as to how much they can or are allowed to reveal to us at any one time almost as if this program has been initiated countless times before on other planetary systems and cultures. If this is indeed the case then it makes great sense to believe that they will follow a very rigid protocol that will allow them to facilitate a gradual raising of global awareness through contact with a few select individuals in our society until such time that they feel we are emotionally prepared as a species to deal with the inevitable trauma and upheaval that their appearance en masse would no doubt generate within our society.
Channelling is possibly the only means available to them at the present moment by which they are able to interact with our species and influence us without the panic and chaos that a prematurely timed mass landing might cause. Therefore maybe we all should pay closer attention to these messages from the stars and not dismiss those few in our society who purport to relay this information as deluded or attention seeking fantasy prone individuals but instead take note of what may well turn out to be a direct line to ET.
